Inflorescence c 2-4 cm across Skye ID: Unmistakable. Amount of pink, white and green on the bracts can vary. Other features: Looks very different from other
umbellifers. The flowers are in an umbel but a very loose one.
The bracts, by contrast, are very conspicuous and look like the petals of
a super-flower, with the individual flowers taking the position of
stamens. Leaves deeply divided into c 3-7 toothed palmately arranged
lobes. |
