Rare, known only from one loch which is flooded by the sea at high tide (plentiful in that loch) Leaves c 4-12 cm long. Fruits c 3.0 x 1.5 mm, on individual stalks c 5-35 mm long, their common stalk c 40-300 mm long. Skye ID: Fruits as in Beaked Tasselweed (see picture there) but on much longer stalks which are spirally twisted. See Beaked T notes for more details. Other features: Fruit only slightly asymmetrical, compared to very much so in Beaked T. |
