Occasional among tall grass, bracken etc.

Flower diameter c 5-8 mm

Skye ID: This species and Fragrant Agrimony have yellow flowers in long spikes, and lower leaves with small leaflets between the main ones.  See Fragrant Agrimony page for how to tell them apart by the fruits.

Other features: Petals 5, stamens 10-20.  Glands on stems and leaf underside few or none, much less plentiful than non-glandular hairs.  The hooked spines on the fruits attach to animal fur to aid dispersal.
