Very rare but locally plentiful in a few places. Occurs in short turf and bare ground. An alien from New Zealand. Flowerhead diameter c 6-10 mm ID: Unmistakable Other features: A creeping plant, forming mats. Each flower has 4 white petal-like sepals, 2 stamens and 2 feathery styles. Leaves are pinnate with about 5 pairs of leaflets plus an end one. Leaflets bluish-grey with purplish-brown edges and veins. |
