Common on the shore, especially in saltmarshes Flower diameter c 5 mm. Low-growing plant, height typically 15 cm. Skye ID: Fleshy leaves in opposite pairs. Sepals act as petals with 5 pink lobes, no true petals. Other features: Flowers unstalked, each at the base of a leaf. Plant forms patches on shore by means of rooting stems. |
