Common in waste ground, rough grassland and as a garden weed.

Petals enclosing fruit c 5.5 mm long

ID: Fruit enclosed by 3 expanded and hardened petals edged with long teeth (looking like spines in the picture).  The area's other Dock species do not have these teeth.

Other features: Usually only one of the three petals has a tubercle (the round pink bit in the picture), occasionally all 3 do.
