Occasional in damp grassy places and ditches Tepals in fruit c 6-7 mm wide and the same in length Skye ID: The only Skye Dock with no tubercles on any of the 3 hardened petals surrounding the fruit. Other features: Very similar to the much commoner Broad-leaved Dock with dense fruiting spikes in which the whorls of fruit overlap. But as well as having no tubercles, the petals are untoothed. |
