Rare on Skye due to limited number of sandy shores Flower diameter c 3.5 mm Skye ID: Fruit 5-6 mm long, (not more than 3.5 mm in Common Knotgrass), and protruding from petals as in pic opp. (top, just right of centre) Other features: Annual. Totally prostrate, sprawling over the sand. Flowers pink or green with broad white margins, persisting to surround the dark brown nut. |
