Uncommon as a native plant; sometimes found as a garden escape, such plants are often more robust than the native ones. Flower spike 10-15 mm in diameter. Pictures show spike in bud, don't yet have pictures of flowers which are bright pink. ID: Many of the leaves have basal lobes (i.e heart-shaped bases), upper half of leaf-stalks winged. Other features: Flowers have five pink petals, no sepals. Stems unbranched. |
