Largest rosette (5 leaves) c 10 mm across

Restricted to a few areas but there quite plentiful.  Bare wet stony patches on hills.

Leaves 3-5 mm.  Flowers c 3 mm across when open (not open in these pictures)

Skye ID: Flowers made up of 3 greenish-white sepals which together form a dimpled triangle, 3 red-anthered stamens, 3 yellow glands and 2 styles.  In its habitat can be recognised when not in flower by the red stems, roundish somewhat fleshy leaves, and small size.

Other features: Leaves have short stalks, 1 mm or less, and papery sheathing stipules (as normal with the Dock family) c 1 mm.
