Open flower on left 7.5 mm long excl stalk

Frequent on bare roadside banks, gravelly verges and rock outcrops.

Flowers c 6-8 mm long

Skye ID: Flowers very similar to Heath Milkwort but the leaves are not opposite even at the base of the stem, and the number of flowers on a stem is normally well over 8.

Other features: As with Heath Milkwort the flowers come in a variety of colours, though dark blue is by far the commonest.
