Lowest fl 11 mm across at widest

Frequent among heather or grass on less acid soils.

Height c 15-35 cm.  Lowest petal of flower c 4-6 mm across.

Skye ID: Spur (long narrow pink extension behind flower) almost twice as long as ovary (thicker green extension behind flower).  The two side petals are horizontal or slightly deflexed, not spreading upwards.

Other features: Very fragrant.  Leaves narrower than other common orchids, and not spotted.  Bracts about as long as flowers.  Lowest petal divided into 3 shallow lobes that are not toothed or wavy-edged.
