Rare in moorland flushes Height c 8-20 cm. Lowest petal c 8-15 mm wide. Skye ID: Similar to Northern Marsh Orchid, particularly in flower colour, but has distinctly one-sided flower spikes, tooth of lower petal is large, about a quarter of distance from petal's mouth to tip. Other features: Leaves usually heavily spotted, stems and flower bracts also often spotted. |
