Frequent on grassy slopes Flower diameter c 4-6 mm Skye ID: Small delicate plant with flowers in a very loose, remote arrangement, each having a slender stalk often much longer than the flower. Leaves narrow, in opposite pairs, 1-veined. Flowers white with yellow centre, 5 unnotched petals, 5 stamens. Other features: Annual. Hairless. Fruit a round capsule. |
