Common in waste ground and damp grassland Flowers c 11 mm in length Skye ID: No tendrils. Calyx-teeth spread away from flower in bud. Totally different habit from Birdsfoot Trefoil, being a climbing or at least upwards-scrambling plant whereas the latter is low and compact. Other features: Leaves similar to Birdsfoot Trefoil but a greyer shade of green. Angle between upper two sepal-teeth is V-shaped, in B.T. it is U-shaped. |
