Common on dry moorland, rock ledges and heathery banks Flower c 12-15 mm long Skye ID: Pale yellow-green flowers unmistakable. Other features: Leaves mint-like with very deeply etched veins giving wrinkled appearance. Flowers in one-sided spikes. Calyx has upper tooth much broader than the other four. Flower has no upper lip, the lower lip has 4 side-lobes (2 each side) and a large central lobe. |
