Common in wet grassland and moorland, in similar habitats to Soft Rush Flowerhead diameter c 8-10 mm, more in occasional lax-flowered specimens Skye ID: Similar to Soft Rush, but stems clearly ridged (ridges can be felt with fingers). No other Skye rush is like these two. Other features: Shorter than Soft Rush, flowerheads usually more compact. |
