Common at the tideline where it forms large stands Leaves c 1 mm wide. Plant typically 25-30 cm high. Skye ID: Leaves flattened, solid, not divided internally into compartments. Tepals dark brown and equal in length to nut. Lowest bract well short of stem tip (on most stems) Other features: Flower-cluster at tip of stem typically remote from lower one(s). Inflorescence branches near vertical. |
