Common in boggy ground Spikelet c 2-3.5 cm long. Skye ID: One spike per stem. The other two species with cottony spikes have several per stem. Other features: Leaves thread-like, c 1 mm wide, Stem leaves short, sheaths inflated. Stem round below, triangular above. |
