Widespread but not numerous, in peaty lochs Flower diameter c 2-3 mm, leaves c 2-7 cm Skye ID: Typical white crucifer flowers, but leaves all from base, narrow and tapering to a fine point. Other features: Fruit globular to egg-shaped, arranged down the stem in typical crucifer fashion. Flowers and fruit normally submerged, but sometimes break surface. Flowers self-pollinated before they open. |
