An uncommon garden escape, naturalised in a few places near past or present habitations. Flowerhead diameter c 6-8 cm ID: The very large bright yellow dandelion-like flowerheads and the large stem-clasping leaves, with fine teeth but no lobes, spines or wavy edges, should distinguish it. Other features: Base leaves long stalked but stem leaves clasping. Leaves softly hairy beneath. Flowerheads single or in small groups at the end of long stalks. |
