Occasional in arable fields and waste ground, much decreased due to cessation of arable farming.

Flower diameter c 3-7 cm

ID: Flowers a bit like a large version of Marsh Ragwort but leaves fleshy and dull bluish green, involucral bracts broad, not long and narrow like ragworts.

Other features: Annual.  Leaves and buds similar to those of garden chrysanthemums.  Stem thickened below flowerhead.
