Fairly frequent on the edge of scrubland and on shady roadsides. Flower diameter c 20-30 mm Skye ID: Petals notched to about halfway, petals much longer than sepals. All leaves unstalked, narrow and tapering from near the base to a pointed tip. No similar Skye plant has flowers over 12 mm apart from Arctic Mousear which has totally different leaves. Other features: Leaves a somewhat bluish, not yellowish, green. On young shoots leaves held upright closely pressed together as in last picture. Some shoots do not flower. Stems square.
