Frequent in grassy places Flower diameter 5-12 mm Skye ID: Petals split to about halfway, petals equal to or longer than sepals but not twice as long. Leaves unstalked, narrow. Other features: Flowers much smaller than Greater Stitchwort, not split to base like Bog Stitchwort. Sepals conspicuously 3-veined, much more so than in Greater S. Flowers are distant in a loose, well-branched and spreading inflorescence. Stamens 10, some may not be fully developed. Styles 3. |
