Common on bare disturbed soil, around farm buildings and as a garden weed.

Flower diameter c 4-7 mm

Skye ID: Whorled effect of narrow linear leaves makes plant instantly recognisable whether in flower or not.  Hanging effect of multiple fruit capsules (pic below) is also unique.

Other features: Annual.  Leaves fleshy but very narrow, not like Sea Spurreys, channelled beneath.  Stem and leaves covered with sticky hairs.
