Rare, almost certainly not native but naturalised in a few places. Main stem leaves c 10-15 cm long. ID: A climbing and twining plant with the leaves well toothed. Main stem leaves 3- or 5-lobed. Other features: Upper leaves smaller and not lobed. All leaves heart-shaped at base. Male and female flowers on separate plants, the female producing cones. Have not noticed flowers or fruit on Skye specimens, would be interested to know if they occur. |
