Common in much of the area but surprisingly rare in Skye and some other places. Roadsides, fields, grassy banks, and on rockfaces from the coast to mountain summits. Flowers c 13-18 mm long. ID: Unmistakeable in flower. Other features: Flower divided into 5 lobes to about a third of the way down. Upper leaves linear; lower leaves with roundish blade and long stalk, but soon withering. |
