Fairly frequent in marshy ground and edges of burns. Flower diameter c 2-4 mm Skye ID: Hairs on calyx appressed, not spreading or hooked. All stem hairs also appressed (check lowest). Flower lobes rounded at tips, not notched. Other features: Ripe fruit stalks 2-3x as long as calyx. An annual or biennial plant which does not have runners; stems arise in a tuft, and are branched close to the base if at all. |
