Furthest left flower 4.5 cm long

Uncommon in damp waste ground and on river banks.  A garden escape which has become very invasive in other parts of the country. 

Plant typically 1-2 m tall.  Flower c 3-5 cm long.

Skye ID: Flowers unmistakable.

Other features: Flowers vary from white to deep pink.  Stems red, leaves often in whorls of three.  Annual.
