Quite frequent in Cowal, rare elsewhere. On mortared walls or (in Skye) quarry rubble. Fronds 3-20 cm long ID: Back of frond covered with rust-coloured scales Other features: Spores in ellpitical bundles along the veins, hidden by the scales, without a covering indusium. |
